Palm Oil Operations

Palm oil is NBPOL’s core business and the foundation of our agribusiness operations in Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands.

NBPOL is a vertically integrated upstream producer of palm oil, managing the full value chain from plantation development and milling through to certified, fully traceable crude and refined palm oil products. All palm oil operations are certified to the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) standards.

Our focus remains on responsible upstream production, while downstream refining, international trading and global marketing are undertaken by SD Guthrie International, the downstream arm of our parent company.

Our Palm Oil Products

NBPOL produces a range of commodity bulk palm oil products for domestic and international markets. Product distribution and market access are managed in alignment with SD Guthrie Group arrangements.

  • Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO)
  • Refined, Bleached and Deodorised (RBD) Palm Oil
  • RBD Palm Olein (IV56 and IV60)

  • Palm Mid Fraction
  • Palm Fatty Acid Distillate (PFAD)

Used across food manufacturing, oleochemicals and industrial applications.
